  5. PLEASE READ THIS TEXT IN ITS ENTIRETY AS IT CONTAINS
  6. IMPROTANT INFORMATION ON PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS AND ON
  7. INSTALLATION PROCEDURES.

  11. The enclosed program is an in-progress edition of the
  12. OS/2 Gamer's Guide. It is a completely rewritten
  13. version which now utilizes a relational database
  14. approach.
  15.  
  16. When installing, please do not install over previous
  17. versions. Delete any old versions prior to installing.
  18.  
  19. This new version uses Watcom's SQL for OS/2. When you
  20. run the install.cmd file it will create a directory
  21. and copy the program files there. It will then start
  22. the Watcom SQL install routine. THIS MUST BE PUT ON
  23. YOUR SYSTEM IN ORDER TO USE THE PROGRAM. It is the
  24. runtime library for the database.

  26. After installing I also recommend that you copy the
  27. VX-Rexx runtime library file, VROBJ.DLL into a
  28. directory in your DLL path, preferably, \OS2\DLL.
